Mats for the Homeless Informational Meeting

Lord of Life Lutheran Church along with the residents Shorehaven Retirement Community are involved in a program called Mats for the Homeless. We crochet or weave 3’ x 6’ mats out of clean used plastic grocery or store bags. The mats are then distributed by Whitestone Warriors and Salvation Army of Waukesha to the homeless in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties.

Community groups and clubs are welcome to attend to learn about the process and see it in action.  Please  invite interested persons!
